Obituary for Dorothy Motley "Dottie" Finch

Dorothy Motley (Dottie) Finch, age 84, of Danville, died Monday, February 10, 2014 at Roman Eagle Rehabilitation Health Care Center. She was born on May 19, 1929, in Pittsylvania County, the daughter of the late Blair Motley and the late Dorothy Whitehead Motley.
She is survived by three sons, Johnny Jackson and his wife Phyllis of Jefferson, GA, Walter Jackson and his wife Nancy of Ringgold, and David Hutcherson of Lawrenceville; and one daughter, Ann Pio and her husband Gregg of Danville; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Blair Motley, Jr., and John Whitehead Motley
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the care-givers at Roman Eagle.
Funeral services will be conducted at Scott Funeral Home on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 11:00 AM with the Rev. David Testerman officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Burial Park, in Danville. The family will receive friends at Scott Funeral Home one hour prior to the service and at other times will be at 129 LIpton Ln. in Danville. Scott Funeral Home in Chatham is serving the Finch family. www.scottfuneralhomechatham.com
