DYERSBURG, TN,
Cleo Bernard, 87 of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Monday, March 13, 2017, at Humboldt Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Humboldt, Tennessee.
Born Monday, December 16, 1929 in Bedford County, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Herbert Greene Kendrick and the late Louise Adkins Kendrick. Mrs. Bernard was a home-maker.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bernard will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, March 17, 2017 in the Chapel of Scott Funeral Home in Chatham, Virginia. Visitation will be Friday from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Scott Funeral Home in Chatham, Virginia. Officiating this service will be Rev. Darrell T. Campbell. Interment will follow in the Kendrick Family Cemetery in Chatham, Virginia. Johnson-Williams Funeral Home in Newbern, Tennessee is in charge of local arrangements.
She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter, Nita Doss and her husband, David of Dyersburg, Tennessee; three grandchildren, James Chism, IV, Krystal Chism Barks and Branden Chism and two great-grandchildren, Preslee Chism and Dalton Barks.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Bernard; one brother, Hannibal Kendrick and one sister, Juanita Kendrick.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
