Obituary for Jennifer Ann Wilson

CLARKSVILLE,

Jennifer Ann Wilson, age 45, of 140 Pinecone Ridge Clarksville, VA, entered into rest on March 17, 2017 at her residence.

She was born on August 13, 1971, in Raleigh, the daughter of Clifford Wayne Wilson and Barbara Finkbeiner Wilson.

She graduated from Millbrook High School in Raleigh before earning her degree in English with concentration in poetry from East Carolina University. She was a free spirit who never met a stranger. She loved boating on the lake. She also enjoyed music and reading and participating in her book club.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her grandmother, Frances Finkbeiner; one sister, Dr. Laura Wilson Murray and her husband Spencer; a niece, Ellie Murray; and a nephew, Preston Murray; her special friend, Jack Penny; her lifelong best friend, Dana Kallus Hoegh-Guldberg; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted at Scott Funeral Home on Saturday March 25, 2017 at 11:00 am with Rev. Robert Button officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Burial Park.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and at other times will be at the residence of her parents, 1028 Mitchell Rd. Chatham, VA 24531.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Townsville, NC Fire Department and EMS, P.O. Box 2 Townsville, NC 27584.
