Obituary for Allen Wayne Giles



CHATHAM,

Allen Wayne Giles, 58, of Chatham, Virginia passed away peacefully at home in the arms of his loving daughters Saturday, September 9, 2017.

He was born August 7, 1959 to Beatrice Giles and the late Billy Giles. In addition to his mother, Allen is survived by his children, Stephanie Giles and Samantha Giles, his siblings, Billy Lee (Nina) Giles, Pat (Bobby) Woodson, Sammy (Myrtie) Giles, Gayle (Jack) Thomson and many nieces and nephews.

Allen worked as an electrician for many years and loved the outdoors, his flowers, and playing the guitar.

Funeral services will be conducted at Scott Funeral Home on Wednesday September 13, 2017 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Daryl Joyce officiating. Burial will follow at the Giles Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Scott Funeral Home on Tuesday September 12, 2017 from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm and at other times will be at the residence of his mother.
