Obituary for Betty Taylor Cronk

MIDLOTHIAN, VA

Betty Taylor Cronk, age 85, of Midlothian, formerly of Danville, entered into rest on November 10, 2017 at Chippenham Hospital in Richmond.

She was born on May 9, 1932, in Chatham, the daughter of the late William Howard Taylor and
the late Margaret Hill Taylor. She was married to the late Robert Leon Cronk.

Betty was a member of Chatham Presbyterian Church.

She graduated from Danville Memorial Hospital School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse and spent her working years doing what she loved best, taking care of others.

She is survived by one daughter, Debra Rickman (Bradley) Johnson of Midlothian; two sons,
Willard Hershel (Lisa) Rickman Jr. and Warren Scott (Michelle) Rickman, both of Danville;
nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Barbara Rowland, Mae Greiman,
and Nancy Montgomery as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Brian Keith Rickman and one sister, Shelby Slayton.

A private burial will be held at Danville Memorial Gardens.

The family asks that flowers not be sent.
