Nancy Reynolds Hundley, age 84, of 16033 Callands Rd. Callands, entered into rest on December 28, 2017 at her residence.

She was born on April 10, 1933, in Pittsylvania County. She was a member of County Line Christian Church. Nancy was the daughter of the late Charlie Wade and Annie Eliza Slaydon Reynolds. She was married to the late Samuel Leslie Hundley.

Nancy enjoyed her family and friends, gardening, reading, bird watching, crafts, sewing, cooking, and was lovingly referred to as the “Mayor” of Grady.

Mrs. Hundley is survived by two daughters, Donna (Neal) Martin of Peachtree City, GA and Anita (Steve) Amos of Callands; four sons, Steven (Bonnie) Hundley of Chatham, Basil Hundley of Callands, Earl Hundley of Chatham, and Andy (Kathy) Hundley of Chatham; ten grandchildren, Dana Shaw, Jason Hundley, Megan Martin, Katie Dusbabek, Carmen Reynolds, Crystal Thompson, Laila Gourdeau, Ben Amos, Isaiah Amos, and Natalie Amos; eleven great-grandchildren; a sister, Ann Coward; a special niece, Sandra Reynolds; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Nancy was preceded in death by sisters, Edith Bullington, Stella Nelson, and Bernice Turlington; and brothers, Basil Reynolds, Kenneth Reynolds, Wilbur Reynolds, and Nelson Reynolds.

Funeral services will be conducted at Scott Funeral Home on Monday January 1, 2018 at 2:00 pm with Minister Dean Ashby officiating.

Burial will follow at the Hundley Family Cemetery on Sandy River Rd. in Axton.

The family will receive friends at Scott Funeral Home one hour prior to the service and at other times will be at the residence, 16033 Callands Rd. Callands, VA.
