Obituary for Joann Adkins Moser

RINGGOLD,

Joann Adkins Moser, age 70, of 983 Chaney Store Rd. Ringgold, VA, entered into rest on January 22, 2018 at Lynchburg General Hospital.

She was born on December 27, 1947, in Pittsylvania County, the daughter of the late Jack Adkins and the late Oma Jean Adkins. She is survived by her husband, Charlie W. Moser.

She was a member of New Testament Baptist Church in Danville, Va.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Michelle Doss Tucker of Sandy Level; two step-sons, Larry Moser of Chatham and Barry Moser of Climax; four grandchildren, Brian Collins, Brandon Cassidy, Stephanie Hammock, and Kameron Tucker; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Judy Tasker of Stokesdale, NC and Debbie Shelton of Chatham; two brothers, Mike Adkins of Danville and Jerry Adkins of Hurt; and two best friends, Frances Preston and Linda Davis.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Barry W. Bradner.

Funeral services will be conducted at Scott Funeral Home on Friday January 26, 2018 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Jonathan White and Rev. Albert Moser officiating.

Burial will follow at Hillcrest Burial Park.

The family will receive friends at Scott Funeral Home on Thursday January 25, 2018 from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm and at other times will be at the residence, 983 Chaney Store Rd. Ringgold, VA.
