Obituary for Carolyn Muncy Adkins

CHATHAM,

Carolyn Muncy Adkins, age 67, of 269 Burton Lake Rd. Chatham, VA, entered into rest on June 13, 2018 at Lynchburg General Hospital.

She was born on April 20, 1951, in Portsmouth, the daughter of the late Cleophas Muncy and the late Mildred Muncy Grogan.

She is survived by her husband, Richard L. Adkins.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Barry D. Moser of Chatham and Larry W. Moser of Chatham; three step-daughters, Stacy Barbour, Sandy Adkins, and Shelby Adkins; six grandchildren, Ellyssa, Makayla, Brittany, Hunter, Devin, and Katelyn; and one brother, David Muncy of Eden, NC.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Preston Muncy and Mike Muncy; and one sister, Barbara Muncy Witt.

Graveside services will be conducted at Dan View Cemetery in Eden, Fieldcrest Dr. Eden, NC on Sunday June 17, 2018 at 2:00 pm.

The family will receive friends at Scott Funeral Home on Saturday June 16, 2018 from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm and at other times will be at the residence of Larry Moser, 781 Marion Rd. Chatham.
