CHATHAM,

Jacob Wyatt Lewis, age 22, of 453 Rigney Circle Chatham, entered into rest on July 11, 2018 at VCU Health System in Richmond.

He was born on November 18, 1995, in Danville, the son of Richard and Kim Law Lewis.

He was a member of Greenpond Baptist Church. He was a music lover and also loved to hunt and fish. He loved his family and friends very much.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one sister, Karley Lewis of Chatham; his paternal grandmother, Nancy Moore Lewis of Danville; three uncles, Carl Lewis, Ben Gentry, and David Law; three aunts, Sabrina Gentry, Mary Dixon, and Ruth Ann Evans; and five cousins, Jessica Dixon, Josh Dixon, Hallie Gentry, Trey Gentry, and Elizabeth Morris.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Carl Lewis, Sr.; his maternal grandparents, Tommy and Sue Law; and an uncle, Mike Dixon.

Funeral services will be conducted at Greenpond Baptist Church on Monday July 16, 2018 at 11:00 am with Rev. Steven J. Carlton officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the residence, 453 Rigney Circle Chatham, VA.
