Condolence From: Lance Newby
Condolence: I met Libby in Chatham at the Soda Shop in 1959, for I was a new cadet at HMA (age 14). I immediately knew I would marry her one day and have children. The jukebox was playing loudly, and Rock & Roll was in the air. A lot of water passed underneath the bridge of time, but love won. Caroline and April are here and very much with us today. Regrettably and too early, my daughters and their great half-brother Cooper, had the unfortunate duty to attend to her final affairs at Scott Funeral Home. I talked with Ken Scott today (my friend and teammate at HMA) who lives in Richmond, VA. He as well as all the people of Chatham remember Elizabeth and the Norman family. Elizabeth was special and highly gifted. May she Rest in Peace. Lance Newby.

Condolence: We never had the chance to meet. I feel terrible about that. We wish you could have made it to our wedding. I never had the chance to hug and thank you for allowing me the privilege of marrying your beautiful daughter. She is the love of my life! We may have never had the chance to meet in person, but I know that I have already met the best parts of you through her. I know that you will be there at the wedding with us. Sometimes the balcony seats have the best view anyway. We love you and miss you and have so many beautiful and amazing pictures to share thanks to you. We got your RSVP card too, we hope it at least put a smile on your face before you went to bed. Love love love you and rest in peace.
