In 2011 she relocated to Miami.
She will be remembered always for her unwavering and unconditional love for family and friends, her strength of character in the face of all adversity, her endless curiosity and quest for knowledge and education, her enjoyment of music, her delight in playing games (especially Bridge and Scrabble) and mastery of word puzzles. She is survived by her daughter Julia Greene Cooperman of Miami, son Richard Allen Greene (Catherine) of Lynchburg, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Two graveside services will be held for interment of her ashes: at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Chatham, VA, on Thursday, August 9th at 11:00 a.m., and at Ivy Hill Cemetery in Upperville, VA on Saturday, August 11th at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family hopes you will make a donation in her memory to your favorite charity.
