Condolence From: Mary Jane Smith Keesee
Condolence: James Irvin is my first cousin! As a child growing up we played together. He was a lot of fun. He loved to joke and sing silly songs!! Uncle John worked with my dad, Addison and so we saw him quite a bit as children playing in grandma Smith's yard or at their home. later as a young man with a pretty convertible he took me and some friends riding to Martinsville with the top down!! Lots of fun!!

Condolence: James was a great guy. He took out time for me like I was his own son. He was like a dad to me. He did a lot for my family. I appreciate everything he ever did for me.

Condolence From: Margaret Palmer Harris
Condolence: I was very honored to have known James as a personal friend. He was always there for me. He made me laugh, always lent a helping hand, and helped those in need. I can’t remember a time when he wasn’t there for me or my family. The world will never be the same without him. I’m very sad because I lost the best friend anyone could ever have.

Condolence: I can’t imagine this world without James in it. He brought so much to so many and the Callands community. He was such a great friend to my family and so many others. I have so many childhood memories with him in it and I will cherish those forever. Thank you James for everything you ever did for us but most of all, for your friendship. You were like a legend in Callands and will be greatly missed. My deepest sympathy goes out to the family and so many other friends.
