Jeff Leonard Pruitt, age 72, of 1841 David Giles Ln. Blairs, VA, entered into rest on September 23, 2018 at his residence.

He was born on May 10, 1946, in Pittsylvania County, the son of the late Charlie Pruitt and the late Annie Pruitt. He is survived by his wife, Patsy McGhee Pruitt.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Richard Pruitt of Dry Fork; one daughter, Pamela Barker of Reidsville, NC; five grandchildren, Krista Pruitt, Rikki Pruitt, Zachary Pruitt, Travar Cheatham, and Candace Cheatham; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Banister Pruitt of Blairs; and a sister, Betty Ann Combs.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by many brothers and sisters.

Graveside services will be conducted at Hillcrest Burial Park on Friday September 28, 2018 at 2:00 pm with Minister Larry L. Owen officiating.

Burial will follow at Hillcrest Burial Park.

The family will receive friends at Scott Funeral Home on Thursday September 27, 2018 from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm and at other times will be at the residence, 1841 David Giles Ln. Blairs, VA.
