Obituary for Conrad Norton Holt
JAVA,
Conrad Norton Holt, Jr, age 80, of 13649 Halifax Rd. Java, entered into rest on September 23, 2018 at his residence.
He was born on March 21, 1938, in Suffolk, the son of the late Conrad Norton Holt, Sr. and the late Ellen Lowe Holt. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Rochelle Lee.
He served in the United States Navy and Marines and later was a heavy equipment operator.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Lora Worsham and Karen Chaney; two step-daughters, Rochelle Hamilton and Rhonda Selwyn; a step-son, Charles Carter Lee; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Carolynn Tart and Jean Galtress.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Merle Holt; and a sister Sherry Pickens.
A memorial service will be conducted at County Line Baptist Church on Friday September 28, 2018 at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Mike McDowell officiating.
The family will receive friends at the residence, 13649 Halifax Rd. Java, VA.
