CHATHAM,
Betty Sharon Rigney, age 70, of 2381 Mountain Dr. Chatham, entered into rest on December 3, 2018.
She was born on July 21, 1948, in Pittsylvania County, the daughter of the late Luther Rigney and the late Clarice Parsons Rigney.
She was longtime active member of Matthews Memorial Community Church.
She is survived by numerous cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted at Scott Funeral Home on Thursday December 6, 2018 at 11:00 am with Rev. Russell East III and Rev. Charles Swanson officiating.
Burial will be private.
The family will receive friends at Scott Funeral one hour prior to the service.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Matthews Memorial Community Churc, 1060 Calvary Rd. Chatham, VA 24531.
