Obituary for Robert Scott Carter

CHATHAM,

Robert Scott Carter, born November 21, 1977, age 41, of Danville, VA, lost his battle with brain cancer Sunday night, September 15, 2019 surrounded by family.

He is survived by his father and step-mom, Ronnie Lee Carter and Rhonda; his mother, Estelle Huffman Carter; a brother, Jamie Lee Carter; a step-brother, Michael Mustain; a step-sister, Jeri Jones; and a niece, Farryn Carter.

Robert truly loved visiting his family, getting his coins, drinking sodas, and just enjoying the simple things in life. He will truly be missed by all of us in the days ahead.

Special thank you to Joy and Marvin Williamson for their love and care over the past years. They treated and cared for Robert like he was one of their own.

Graveside services will be conducted at Hillcrest Burial Park on Thursday September 19, 2019 at 11:00 am.

The family will receive friends at Scott Funeral Home on Wednesday September 18, 2019 from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm and at other times will be at the residence of his father and step-mom, 3321 Green Hill Dr. Danville, VA 24540.
