Obituary for Johnny Dennis Brooks
DANVILLE,
Johnny Dennis Brooks, Sr., age 58, of Pelham, NC, entered into rest on September 29, 2019 at Cone Alamance Medical Center in Burlington after declining heart health issues.
He was born on August 4, 1961, in Danville, the son of the late Johnny Ray Brooks and the late Anna Brogans Brooks and did handyman all his life.
He is survived by his two sons, Eric Jones of Danville and Johnny Dennis Brooks, Jr. of Danville; three brothers, James (Pat) Brooks of Lauderdale, MS; Leonard Brooks (Betty) of Ruffin, NC, and Larry Brooks of Pelham, NC; a sister, Linda Brooks Gauldin of Ringgold, VA; and six grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Sue Brooks (Reuben) Anderson.
There will be a memorial service for family and friends at a later date.
