Obituary for Deborah Scearce Gray



DANVILLE,

Deborah Scearce Gray, age 63, of Danville, entered into rest on October 17, 2019 at SOVAH Health Danville.

She was born on March 29, 1956, in Danville, the daughter of the late Thomas Clay Scearce and Lottie Bell Tharpe Scearce, who survives.

She loved her family and especially enjoyed being a Nana to her grandchildren.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Jerry David Gray; two daughters, Tamara (J.D) Walker and Tara (William) Stafford; four grandchildren, Elizabeth Stafford, Cabell Stafford, Kayeley Crumpton, and Mia Walker; a sister, Angela Scearce (William) Morgan; and a brother, Mike (Ginny) Scearce.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Jerry David Gray, Jr.; and two grandbabies in heaven.

Memorial services will be conducted at Scott Funeral Home on Monday October 21, 2019 at 3:00 pm.

The family will receive friends at Scott Funeral Home on Monday October 21, 2019 from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm and at other times will be at the residence of William and Tara Stafford, 141 Reid St. Chatham, VA.
