CHATHAM,

Latane Clark “Sonny” Evans, age 85, of 2421 Hawkins Rd. Chatham, VA, entered into rest on January 29, 2019.

He was born on October 17, 1933, in Pittsylvania County, the son of the late Dula Clark Evans Sr. and the late Sudie Owen Evans.

He is survived by one brother, Dula Clark Evans, Jr. of Chatham.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five sisters.

Graveside services will be conducted at Oak Grove Christian Church Cemetery on Saturday February 2, 2019 at 2:00 pm.
