Obituary for Edward John Pyke

CHATHAM,

Edward John Pyke, age 87, of 272 Roaring Fork Lake Rd. Chatham, VA, entered into rest on February 5, 2019 at his residence in Chatham.

He was born on July 23, 1931, in New York, NY, the son of the late Edward Pyke and the late Anna Sapp Pyke.

He is survived by his wife, Georgianna Kelly Pyke.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four sons, Edward George (Elizabeth) Pyke, William John (Bonnie) Pyke, Jamey Patrick Pyke, and Marc Richard (Rachel) Pyke; seven grandchildren, Sarah Pyke, Kayden Pyke, Melanie Pyke, William Pyke, Kalani Pyke, Jenna Pyke, Alana Pyke; and one great-grandchild, Caanan Pyke.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Catherine Faussette.

Memorial services will be conducted at Scott Funeral Home on Friday February 8, 2019 at 10:00 am with Father Jonathan Goertz officiating.
