Obituary for Catherine Gibbs Easley

CHATHAM,

My very precious wife went home to be with the Lord. Catherine Easley, age 78, of chatham, VA. She walked through the gates of Heaven on Tuesday August 13, 2019 at her residence.
She was born on July 2, 1941, the daughter of the late Robert Gibbs and the late Ellen Gibbs.

She is survived by her husband, Lloyd Easley. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Michelle dawn Easley (Tony Moore) and Sheila Easley (Jackie) Weadon; a grandchild, Brandy Nicole Easley (Steven Young); a great-grandchild, Jaydon Landon Young; and sister-in-law, Martha Foley.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Margie Bailey; and two brothers, Pete Gibbs and Irvin Gibbs.

The family will be holding a celebration of life on Saturday August 23, 2019 from 1 pm to 4 pm at her residence.
