Condolence: Dear Virginia, Nancy Gail and family, I wish you my sincerest condolences at the passing of your mom. Hope you all are doing OK. Most of the Shockoe Choir that we all knew are no longer with us, so they must be "making a joyful noise" together, once again! The photos you posted are lovely, as you all always were! Thanks for sharing them with the rest of us. My prayers are with you all.

Love, Jan (now in Jermyn, PA with daughter Cynthia)

Condolence From: Grace Dawn Yeatts Walker
Condolence: Dear Virginia, and Family: I was so sorry to see of Mrs. Lester's passing. She was such a beautiful lady. My father, James "PeeWee" Yeatts, (my mother was Sarah Yeatts) used to play the guitar with Mrs. Fannie and Mr. Rawley, when they would have their singing get togethers. I so loved those times. Your mother played that piano to where I thought it might get up and start jumping and dancing. I know times are sad at the moment and for the next few days, but I hope you can find peace in knowing that Rawley and Fannie are together now. And with my father there also, the three of them are playing their music with the angels. Heaven is much brighter and the music up there is now so much more prettier. Please know that you are all in my many thoughts and prayers. May God bring the peace that passes all understanding. Love, Dawn Walker
